Can you believe May is here already! As sad as it ‘may’ be to see the year fly by, May has so many good things to offer: fresh flowers, warm weather, and Mother’s Day! Mother’s Day mini sessions are one of my favorite sessions to offer. As a fellow mom, I know first hand how precious every second is with our children. Newborn, toddler, teen, adult children, doesn’t matter…. I LOVE capturing all stages of motherhood!
If you missed out on the Mother’s Day mini sessions, don’t worry…. Motherhood sessions are offered all year long. Let’s be honest, Mother’s day is everyday and deserves to be documented during every season of life.
My goal is to make your session unique to you! During the planning phase of the above Mother’s Day mini sessions, I constantly checked in with all of my wonderful mamas to assist with outfit choices and discuss what phase their little(s) were in to help keep them happy during their session.
Ever client receives access to a client portal which provides a style guide, location guide, how to prepare for a session guide, and so much more. Although these guides are right at your fingertips, do not let them stop you from thinking outside the box and making your session truly yours. I always tell my moms to dress according to their stage of life – when my son was 3, he was obsessed with dinosaurs. When it came time for our yearly photos, I purchased a white button up dress shirts that had mini dinosaurs on it. This made him love his outfit so much he was excited to show our photographer, all while giving us a little reminder of his personality within out photos.
